CarChip Fleet Pro can tell a lot about how your drivers drive. When you add the GPS Solution, you’ll also know where they’ve been. If they take detours that don’t match the daily schedule, or if they like to drive at highway speeds on side roads, then you’ll know where to focus your attention in the future. If they go from job to job, safely and on time, congratulate yourself on hiring fine employees.
THe GPS solution requires two parts for each vehicle, a GPS Module and a GPS/Wireless Interface Module. The interface module is the same point where you would connect the wireless on-board module for wireless data downloading. Adding GPS modules to your vehicles is simple. It takes less than ten minutes to mount the receiver on the dash, plug the pieces together, and tuck them away. Once the data has been collected, download the data to our Fleet Management Software, then use Microsoft MapPoint or another third-party mapping program to create detailed maps showing each driver’s routes, the speeds driven, and the locations of any hard braking events.

Connects the Wireless On-Board Module to your CarChip Fleet Pro data logger. You’ll need one per vehicle. Easily mounts under dashboard using the included Velcro® strips or double-sided foam tape. A single Interface Module can be used to install both a Wireless download system and a GPS system.
